The Earth Doctors is a program that puts environmental eduction into action.
It’s designed from the principles of behavioral science, aimed at helping families bring eco-friendly behaviors into the home.
Each activity involves real-life measurement of each family’s impact. We share this data as a team and figure out how to improve it like a game.
This measurement-centric approach helps kids learn the foundations of data science and scientific metrics, as well as highlighting how their own actions at home effect the numbers.

Hello! I'm Katie Patrick. I'm a mom and Australian-American environmental engineer and behavior designer based in Silicon Valley, California.
I specialize in designing tools, games, and activities that get people to take on new environmentally friendly actions.
I created Earth Doctors because I love teaching kids sustainability in a way that is fun, interactive, and scientifically rich. I hope to craft experiences that help families cultivate life-long positive change in choosing pro-environmental behaviors, values, and choose ecologically conscious careers.
